Eligibility Criteria

All of the following requirements must be satisfied by applicants:

  • Nigerian citizenship is mandatory.
  • Possession of a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum classification of Second Class Upper Division in a pertinent field is required.
  • Graduation must have occurred within the last five (5) years (i.e., not before 2021).
  • Completion of the compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program is essential.
  • Pursuit of a Master’s degree program in France for the 2026/2027 academic year must be the applicant’s intention.
  • Application to or secured admission for a Master’s program in Management Science, Engineering, or Geosciences (with emphasis on oil and gas fields) at a French university is necessary. Preference might be extended to those holding admission to French public universities.

Fields of Study

Master’s programs in the following domains are exclusively supported by the scholarship:

  • Management Science
  • Engineering (all pertinent disciplines)
  • Geosciences (particularly fields related to Oil & Gas)

Application Procedure

  1. Document Preparation: Your degree certificate, NYSC discharge certificate, academic transcripts, passport photograph, and a valid international passport should be gathered.
  2. University Research & Application: Suitable Master’s programs in France must be identified and applied to. Guidance can be sought from resources such as Campus France Nigeria.
  3. Scholarship Application Submission: The official online scholarship portal is the exclusive channel for application submission. Consideration will not be given to applications sent via email or other means.
