Applications are now being accepted for the 2026 cohort of the Global Biofuel Champion Fellowship (GBCF), an initiative led by the Global Biofuels Alliance (GBA). This fully funded program is designed for Master’s and PhD students, as well as early-career researchers, who are focused on advancing biofuel innovation, sustainability, and clean energy.
Selected fellows will be granted up to $15,000 in funding, paired with mentorship from global experts, and given the chance to take part in international policy and research dialogues within the bioenergy field.
Eligibility
- Candidates must be enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program with at least one year of study remaining.
- Researchers who are affiliated with NGOs, think tanks, or academic institutions are eligible to apply.
- A demonstrated interest or background in biofuel, climate, or energy-related topics is required.
