We are pleased to announce that Extraordinary Woman Blog has officially joined the DataCamp Donates partner network. This partnership represents more than a formal affiliation. It is a direct response to a challenge we have long recognised: that access to quality technical education remains unevenly distributed and that women, particularly those in underserved communities are disproportionately affected by this gap. By aligning with DataCamp Donates, we are taking a concrete step toward closing that divide. As we prepare to welcome participants to our free Data Mentorship Programme on 22 August, this collaboration significantly enhances the resources we can offer. Through DataCamp Donates, our mentees and the wider Extraordinary Woman community will gain complimentary access to a globally respected platform for data science and analytics education, removing cost as a barrier to entry.
About the Mentorship Programme
Applications are now open for Data for Her, our four-month mentorship programme commencing this August. This initiative is a core component of Project 1000 our broader commitment to training 1,000 women in Data and Artificial Intelligence, equipping them for meaningful participation in the digital economy. The programme is designed for women at all stages of their professional journeys. Whether you are entirely new to the field or seeking to transition into a data-focused role, the curriculum is structured to meet you where you are and guide you forward with purpose.
Programme Tracks
Participants may select from the following learning pathways; each tailored to different career aspirations:
- Azure Data Fundamentals: An introduction to cloud-based data services and infrastructure
- Data Analysis: Developing the skills to interpret, visualise, and communicate data-driven insights
- Data Engineering: Building competence in data pipelines, storage solutions, and system architecture
- Data Science & Machine Learning: Exploring predictive modelling, algorithms, and advanced analytics
- Microsoft Excel & PowerBI: Mastering essential tools for business intelligence and reporting
Programme Details
- Duration: 4 months
- Start Date: 22 August 2026
- Venue: Fully online
- Registration: Free of charge
- Capacity: Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis
Through our partnership with DataCamp Donates, all accepted participants will also receive free access to DataCamp’s extensive library of interactive courses, enriching their learning experience with hands-on, self-paced content that complements the mentorship structure.
Eligibility and Registration
The programme is open to women globally. There are no formal educational or professional prerequisites only a genuine willingness to learn, technical savviness and reliable internet access. Since this is a data analysis course that involves SQL, access to a computer is compulsory. We believe talent is distributed equally, but opportunity is not. This programme aims to redress that imbalance. Registration is currently open and will close on 19 August to allow sufficient time for onboarding and cohort finalization. We encourage interested applicants to register early, as spaces are strictly limited.
How to Register

Upon registration, participants will receive a confirmation email within 48 hours, followed by a comprehensive onboarding packet and an invitation to join a private community platform. This ensures that by the time the programme begins, every participant feels prepared, informed and connected.
