About the Award
The role of women in agriculture, in agribusiness, and in the agricultural sciences is changing worldwide. The Women in Ag Awards pay tribute to this commitment and tell the stories behind these inspiring women. For the fifth time, they are organizing this competition together with the “Women in Ag magazine,” which gives women from all over the world the opportunity to tell their stories and present their impressive achievements. In recent years, women from more than 80 countries have applied, and they all have one thing in common: they are heard and build a strong network that supports and connects them. The DLG’s Female Agri Fellows Network is also part of this growing ecosystem, offering women in agriculture lasting opportunities for exchange and visibility. DLG e.V. (German Agricultural Society) is a leading organization in the agricultural sector, promoting innovation, knowledge transfer, and networking. Through initiatives like the Women in Ag Award, DLG recognizes the critical contributions of women to global food systems, rural development, and agricultural innovation.
