About the Program
The Bloomberg Fellows Program supports professionals affiliated with organizations operating on the frontlines of public health issues. Recipients pursue either a Master of Public Health (MPH) or Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) degree at Johns Hopkins, with their collaborating organization playing a key role in the fellowship. After graduation, fellows commit to a service period with their partnering organization to apply their training in real-world contexts.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Currently affiliated with an organization operating on the frontlines of public health issues
  • Working in one of the five focus areas: addiction and overdose, adolescent health, environmental health, food systems for health, and violence
  • Applying for admission to the MPH or DrPH program at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health

Application Details

  1. Apply for admission to the MPH or DrPH program via the SOPHAS system
  2. Complete the Bloomberg Fellows application along with documentation about your collaborating organization
    Application deadline: December 1, 2025
