About the Award
The Bayer Foundation Women Entrepreneurs Award 2026 is now accepting applications from women-led businesses creating innovative solutions in health and food security. This global program identifies and supports female entrepreneurs who are addressing major social challenges in their communities across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East. The award is specifically designed to help women founders scale their ventures through a combination of funding, mentorship, and international exposure. Each year, 15 outstanding women entrepreneurs are selected to participate in this prestigious program, gaining access to resources and networks that can accelerate their business growth and amplify their impact.
Overview of the Award
The Bayer Foundation Women Entrepreneurs Award is structured as a 6-month accelerator program that provides funding and expert support to help women founders strengthen their businesses and become investor-ready. The program focuses on ventures that are already operational and have demonstrated early traction or measurable impact in their respective fields. Participants engage in a comprehensive curriculum covering business strategy, financial planning, impact measurement, and investor pitching. The program culminates in Awardee Days held in Amsterdam, where finalists present their ventures, network with industry leaders, and celebrate their achievements. The Bayer Foundation Women Entrepreneurs Award recognizes that women entrepreneurs are essential drivers of innovation and social change in their communities. By providing funding, mentorship, and global visibility, the program helps female founders overcome barriers to growth and amplifies their contributions to health and food security worldwide. Awardees join a powerful network of like-minded entrepreneurs and gain lifelong access to resources that support their continued growth and impact.
