Apply for Together Women Rise Grants 2026–2027 (Up to $50,000 in Funding)

Application Deadline: June 5, 2026

About the Grants

Together Women Rise provides funding to organizations that empower and support women and girls in low-income and marginalized communities in the Global South. They feature a different organization/project each month, providing extensive learning materials on the project and the issue being addressed, and promoting it through their nationwide chapters, website, newsletters, and social media. Grantees are assigned to be featured in a specific month based on an issue area and geography.

Together Women Rise is a community of women dedicated to achieving global gender equality. Since its founding, the organization has granted over $30 million to more than 300 grassroots organizations working to empower women and girls in low-income countries. The grants program is a core part of their mission, providing flexible funding to organizations that are often overlooked by traditional donors.

Grant Benefits

Selected organizations will receive:

  • Grant amount: $35,000 – $50,000
  • Extensive visibility through Together Women Rise’s nationwide chapters, website, newsletters, and social media
  • Access to a network of dedicated supporters and potential long-term partners
  • Promotion of the organization’s work and the issues being addressed

Why These Grants Matter

Grassroots organizations working to empower women and girls in the Global South are often the most effective agents of change, yet they consistently struggle to access funding. Traditional donors favor larger, established organizations with US 501(c)(3) status, leaving many community-based groups without the resources they need to sustain and scale their work.

Together Women Rise addresses this gap by providing flexible, multi-year funding to organizations that might otherwise be overlooked. The grants program also offers significant visibility, introducing grantees to a nationwide network of supporters who can become long-term partners and advocates. By focusing on organizations where women make up the majority of leadership and which provide access to comprehensive health services including sexual and reproductive health, Together Women Rise ensures that funding supports not just programs but also the broader ecosystem of women’s empowerment and rights.
