About the Position

The Engine Room is soliciting applications for a half-time Project Manager. The organization is growing its projects and partnerships and needs someone to provide project management support. This person will work closely with the Associate for Project Management and project leads. The ideal candidate is committed to The Engine Room’s mission and is passionate about the work they do. The organization is looking for a team member who is able to form healthy and trusted relationships with project leads and who is able to balance the need for task and logistics management with the project focus on outcomes and targets. This person needs to be adept at being the “glue” that holds things together as well as the “grease” that facilitates movement. They are also able to happily work in a place where project management doesn’t look or feel the same as it does in traditionally structured Global North NGOs but is instead structured to create healthy spaces for teams to work and succeed in.
