About the Programme
Young entrepreneurs aged 18–35 are invited to apply for the Orange Corners Nigeria Incubation Programme, which is currently accepting applications. By the Kingdom of the Netherlands, this programme was launched in 2019, and through FATE Foundation, it is implemented, empowering young business owners to create sustainable ventures. A global initiative of the Netherlands government, Orange Corners supports young entrepreneurs in Africa and the Middle East through incubation, training, and access to funding. In Nigeria, delivery of the programme is carried out in partnership with FATE Foundation, a leading non-profit organisation focused on enterprise development and entrepreneurship support. For Ogun-based entrepreneurs aged 18–35, this programme is now open, focusing on key sectors such as Circular Economy, Agriculture, Health, Renewable Energy, Technology, and Water.
Programme Benefits
With the tools to succeed, the 6-month programme equips participants through four core components:
Enterprise Management Training: Through interactive workshops on strategy, finance, and marketing, business fundamentals are mastered by participants. Core competencies in business planning, financial management, customer acquisition, and operational efficiency are built by them.
Business Incubation & Advisory: Tailored guidance and support to scale ventures, including industry visits, are received by participants. Dedicated advisors are assigned to each business, providing hands-on support to address specific challenges and opportunities.
Funding Support: For prototype development and testing, up to €30,000 can be accessed by participants to bring their ideas to life. From concept to market-ready product or service, this funding helps entrepreneurs move forward.
Mentorship & Networking: From experienced entrepreneurs, learning is facilitated, and connections to local and international markets are established. A network of mentors, investors, and industry experts who can open doors to new opportunities is gained by participants.
