About the Scholarship
OIC-COMSTECH offers research grants to support young women scientists from OIC member states. The one-year grants support faculty members conducting research in STEM fields at recognized universities or research institutions, recognizing that women scientists face unique challenges in advancing their research careers. OIC-COMSTECH, is the Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) (www.comstech.org), is pleased to announce the 2nd phase of small Research Grants Program for Young Women Researchers.
This initiative is dedicated to support young women researchers engaged in indigenous research within OIC member states. The program aims to promote scientific culture, strengthen research capacity, and help to enhance confidence of talented young researchers from the OIC region. Grants may be utilized for purchasing Minor Equipment and Consumables.
Scholarship Benefits
Award Amount: $5,000 – $7,000 per one-year grant

Eligibility Requirements
Eligible Applicants:
- Young women scientists from OIC member states
- Hold a PhD degree
- Serve as full-time faculty at recognized universities or research institutions
- Below 45 years of age

- Academic credentials
Ineligible Applicants:
- Male applicants
- Scientists above 45 years of age
- Individuals not holding full-time faculty positions
