Fidelity Bank’s HerFidelity Apprenticeship Program 2026 for Young Women Entrepreneurs

Deadline: Not Specified (Encouraged to apply early)

The HerFidelity Apprenticeship Program is an initiative by Fidelity Bank Plc designed to empower Nigerian women with practical skills, mentorship, and financial inclusion support to build sustainable livelihoods and achieve economic independence. The program provides structured, hands-on training in real work environments across diverse vocational and technical fields .

About the Program

The HerFidelity Apprenticeship Program focuses on equipping women with hands-on, industry-relevant skills through structured, on-the-job training. Participants are placed in real work environments across diverse vocational and technical fields such as automobile manufacturing, construction, barbing, shoemaking, and other skilled trades that offer long-term income and career opportunities. The initiative connects women with experienced craft persons and established businesses where they receive guided, practical training that strengthens technical competence and professional confidence. In addition to skills acquisition, the program integrates mentorship and career guidance to support participants as they transition from learning to earning. A strong financial inclusion component is embedded in the program. Participants receive financial literacy training covering income management, savings habits, basic banking services, and planning for growth. The program also supports women in building financial identity, adopting a savings culture, and accessing safe and secure banking services, all of which are critical for long-term economic independence.
