About the Fellowship
The 2027/2028 Rotary Peace Fellowship Program is currently inviting applications for its fully funded awards. Designed for established leaders who possess professional backgrounds in peacebuilding and development, the fellowship selects individuals dedicated to service at both community and international levels and to the pursuit of peace. Each academic year, The Rotary Foundation provides financial support for as many as 50 master’s degree fellowships and up to 120 professional certificate fellowships at leading partner universities worldwide.

The core mission of the Rotary Peace Centers program is to enhance the skills of practitioners in peace and development, enabling them to serve as powerful catalysts for peace. This objective is achieved through an integrated model of advanced academic instruction, hands-on practical experience, and extensive global networking. Full financial coverage is granted to fellows, including all tuition and university fees, housing and board, round-trip travel, and costs associated with mandatory internships and field research.

Program Details

• Master’s Degree Programs: Awarded fellows engage in comprehensive study of peace and development challenges within an academic setting celebrated for its research-led teaching and internationally diverse cohort. These on-campus programs extend over 15 to 24 months and feature a self-directed practical field study lasting between two and three months.
• Professional Development Certificate Program: This rigorous, one-year program employs a blended learning format and is intended for experienced professionals from various sectors within peace and development. The curriculum delivers practical tools and skills that fellows can directly apply to advance peace in their local communities and broader regions. Program requirements include participation in field studies and the design and execution of a social change initiative. This certificate program is structured specifically for individuals who are actively employed.
