About the Scholarship

Full tuition fee waivers for chosen executive training courses are offered through the Florence STG Annual Scholarships. This ensures that high-quality learning remains accessible to professionals from Europe and around the world, irrespective of their financial circumstances. Centered on the mission of tackling complex transnational governance issues, the initiative is designed for individuals committed to professional development and meaningful policy engagement.

A core belief at the Florence School of Transnational Governance is that diverse perspectives are essential for strengthening policymaking in our interconnected world. Reflecting this commitment, the scholarship programme enables professionals to participate in executive courses alongside a global community of peers, academics, and practitioners. Financial barriers to advanced training are removed by these scholarships, making STG’s programmes more inclusive. This empowers individuals in need of support to expand their policy knowledge, leadership capabilities, and professional impact.

Please note: While 100% of the course tuition is covered, travel and accommodation costs must be arranged separately by the participant.

Eligibility Criteria

A wide range of applicants is welcomed for this opportunity:

  • Who Can Apply
    The scholarships are intended for professionals who both wish to attend an open-call STG executive training course and require financial assistance to do so.
  • Geographic Eligibility
    Applications are accepted from individuals worldwide.
  • Fields & Backgrounds
    Professionals engaged in or interested in policy, governance, skills development, or other fields addressed by STG’s course offerings are eligible.

Important Notes

Candidates may submit an application for only one course per annual cycle.

A limited number of scholarships are available, with just 1–3 positions allocated per course.

A curriculum vitae (maximum 2 pages) must be prepared prior to beginning the application.
