
The Young Futures Funding Challenge 2025 is now accepting applications, offering grants ranging from $25,000 to $100,000 with a total funding pool of $1 million. This challenge supports youth-centered projects exploring artificial intelligence’s impact on education, mental health, creativity, identity and relationships.
Eligibility Criteria
- Nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) status or fiscally sponsored projects
- Collaborative proposals are welcome
- Projects must be co-designed with young people and aim to foster youth agency in an AI-driven world
Focus Areas
- Youth-Powered AI: Projects where teens build, challenge or creatively remix AI tools
- AI in Learning, Work & Creativity: Resources helping youth use AI without sacrificing originality
- AI in Relationships & Mental Health: Collaborative proposals addressing AI’s role in youth mental health and relationships
- Intergenerational Guidance: Projects equipping adults to guide teens in navigating AI responsibly
Timeline
- Initial Application (Letter of Intent): October 8-24, 2025
- Full Proposal Submission: November 12-December 1, 2025 (for invited finalists)
- Finalists Announcement: Early 2026
- Funding Disbursement: Starting April 2026
