About the Grant
The ANWEP Green Futures Grant 2026 is a funding initiative established to support women-led businesses and enterprises in Nigeria that are developing innovative solutions in renewable energy, environmental sustainability, and eco-friendly technologies. The programme is designed to empower female entrepreneurs whose ventures contribute to a cleaner environment, sustainable economic growth, and improved livelihoods, while addressing pressing environmental and energy challenges within their communities. The grant is offered by the Association of Nigerian Women Entrepreneurs and Professionals (ANWEP), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to empowering Nigerian women through entrepreneurship, leadership development, and strategic partnerships. ANWEP works to strengthen the capacity of women and girls by creating opportunities that foster economic inclusion, innovation, and sustainable development while addressing social challenges affecting women, children, and vulnerable communities. Through the Green Futures Grant, ANWEP seeks to identify and invest in high-potential women entrepreneurs whose businesses promote clean energy adoption, environmental conservation, waste management, climate resilience, and other green innovations. Recipients will be announced at the Annual Fundraising Gala on Saturday, July 25, 2026.

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the ANWEP Green Futures Grant, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Woman-owned or woman-led business registered in Nigeria
- Business focuses on eco-friendly products/services or renewable energy solutions
- Business has been operating for at least 6 months
- Founder/co-founder identifies as a woman
- Grant funds will be used for business growth, not personal expenses
- Applicant is not a current ANWEP board member or immediate family of one
